Breathwork

What I offer in breathwork sessions is a deep, open, and electric connection with yourself (God). This is often a break-through process. It is an experience in which you are invited to release the fear and resentment which amor your heart, separating you from yourself and your loved ones. The results are less ego, greater peace, a gentle empowerment, and deeper relationships all around you.

My personal history with breathwork:

I started breathwork sessions after a break up with someone I loved deeply. I knew there was more grief in me than I was feeling… I couldn’t find it. Armoring the heart does that to us. While we feel less grief, we also can’t feel happiness either.

And that armoring had cost me that relationship and more, because I could not fully be with others, or with myself.

My first breathwork session, I was able to come into contact with just a little of the sadness hiding inside, although it felt like a flood at the time.

I really experienced in that moment that my heart was cracking open - and I would play this game where I would feel my heart starting to open, and then I’d pull back a little, and then I’d say “come on, open just a little more, a little more.” I’d start to feel more…and then I’d pull back, and so on until my heart felt like it was opening on its own, and somewhere around that moment I began to hear my intuition clearly again, and eventually understand what it feels like to be an empty channel for Universal love to flow.

After a few more experiences with this self-connection, I recognized this feeling as the my true tenderness, my real vulnerability. I learned to love this feeling, this connection with myself. And as I became more honest with myself, more accepting and compassionate towards myself, I became more available, and people responded. My children, my patients, even strangers began to have experiences where - as connections became more open - we could be more honest and vulnerable with each other. Even those who wanted to do me harm as a first responder began to show less fear and emotional reactivity around me.

Now, I am less afraid as a New Yorker. Wouldn’t that be something for you to experience! Instead of being afraid to make eye contact or to engage with someone, I am mostly available in an empty space where we can interact without fear and reactivity, to the extent that someone else is willing to do that. Whereas before, I had to be in control, and not experience the horror of feeling hurt or being belittled, and even sometimes needed to be feared, which is what our western idea of respect really is…especially for us male-identified souls.

Imagine what might be possible in your relationships, your work, your communities, if you could look at someone and simultaneously be open hearted, more loving, and totally unafraid of being hurt or disrespected?

I want that for everyone. And it’s yours through breathwork - most people just need a to be shown how to start the process, and then they’re off doing the work on their own.
